Passed away on 23 April 2017, aged 56 years.
Your donation will go to the West Berkshire Branch, thank you.
MND (Motor Neurone Disease) is a progressive disease which
attacks the nerves in the brain and spinal cord leading to weakness and wasting
of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, difficulties with
speech, swallowing and breathing.
It is not known exactly what causes MND and there is
currently no cure.
Money for research is obviously important, but so is the
money for the items that can make a significant difference to the quality of
the life of someone with MND and their family.
It would mean so much to us as a family to raise a substantial sum of
money in Richard’s memory and know that we have made things better for others.
