Knowing that a loved one’s grave is being maintained and cared for can give reassurance and comfort. Here at AB Walker, we offer a local grave tending service and take pride in caring for your loved one’s grave.

Our grave tending service

Many people want the graves of their loved ones to be cared for and maintained, but due to distance or time constraints, they aren’t able to keep the grave in the condition they would like. We are able to provide a grave tending service in our local area. With a choice of visit frequency, we are happy to share before and after photographs so you know your loved one’s grave is being looked after.

This regular upkeep also ensures that each memorial stone is frequently checked. We work closely with our qualified masons so that if any concerns with the memorial stone are identified, we can quickly get it inspected. If any damage or remedial work is identified, we’ll let you know and can give you a no-obligation quote to undertake the work. This way lasting damage can be prevented.

How we care for a grave

On each grave tending visit we will:

  • Lightly clean the memorial stone with soap and water
  • Clean all memorial pots and vases
  • Remove all dead flowers, plants and leaf litter
  • Trim and edge grass
  • Lightly prune any bushes or shrubs
  • Place fresh seasonal flowers into any existing grave vases
  • Provide before and after photographs
  • Report on the condition of your memorial stone.

Grave tending plans

You can choose the frequency of our grave maintenance visits through our different grave tending service options:

Bronze Service – £69

1 visit per year

Silver Service – £229

4 visits per year

Gold Service – £629

12 visits per year

Christmas Service – £89

1 visit per year, including placing a 12 inch holly wreath on the grave

Note: Prices are inclusive of VAT.
