Could you help us deliver a first class funeral service to bereaved families?
AB Walker, a family owned funeral director based in Reading, and an established part of the local community, has a vacancy for a casual funeral bearer.
You will undertake pall bearing and chauffeur duties at funeral services with a respectful and professional approach.
If you have great communication skills, a smart appearance and want a level of flexibility in working hours this role could be for you.
About you

- A positive attitude is essential and you will be personable with good communication skills to provide a sensitive and professional approach
- Previous job experience is not necessary and full training will be given
- Full, clean, manual driving license required.
Working hours
Our working hours are between Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Salary and benefits
Zero hours contract; the rate per carry is £28.00
Actual hours worked will be variable. They are dependent on both your availability and the business requirements.
