We bring the deceased into our care and look after them at our premises.
You can. Please let your arranger know if you wish to visit your loved one. Once they are ready for the Chapel of Rest we will advise you.
Yes, if you wish to kiss or hold a loved one’s hand when you visit them in our chapel of rest.
Yes, you are welcome to bring in clothes for them to wear in their coffin. We will record any clothes you bring in.
Shoes are not necessary but you can bring them in if you wish. For cremation they do need to be removed. We can return them to you or recycle them if you wish, please just let us know.
Yes, if you would like to. Let your funeral arranger know and they can arrange a time for you to come in to assist with dressing your loved one.
Embalming is the introduction of specialist embalming solutions into the body after someone has died.
Embalming is the process of preserving a body by delaying the natural effects of death. We usually arrange embalming if the deceased is going into residence, overseas or if the funeral will not take place within 25 days of death.
