Day of the funeral

We will advise you the night before what time to be ready for if we are leaving from residence with you.

The route will be confirmed with you the day before the funeral. If you have a preferred route, then let us know when you are making the funeral arrangements.

Yes, just let us know and we will make sure that you are ready before the hearse leaves.

If you are travelling in a Cortege with us, we will look to arrive approximately 5-10 minutes ahead of the service start time.

Usually 4 or 6 people will bear a coffin.

Yes, just let us know when you make the arrangements that family or friends wish to carry the coffin. Our bearers will guide and support them on the day.

One of our funeral conductors will guide you through the day. They will be wearing a black top hat and will come and greet you.

It is up to you if you prefer to be seated or follow the coffin into the chapel. Just let us know so we can follow your preferred option.

Yes, you are welcome to touch the coffin.

These will be placed on the seats by the chapel attendant before the service starts.
