The Link Visiting Scheme is a befriending service for older residents within the Wokingham Borough. We know that loneliness strikes many older people, destroying their sense of wellbeing. We seek to counter this by providing regular visits for chat and sometimes an outing. These visits and our programme of social activities can work wonders in restoring self worth and a renewed sense of being part of their local community.
