Thank you lovely Jacky, for being there and looking after us when Tom and I used to play on Alcot Close. Having our families on the same street, and feeling safe and secure without a care in the world, Tom and I used to launch footballs into the neighbours' gardens, explore the woods, chase ice cream vans and stuff ourselves with delicious sweets. At the end of summer days, we'd be embraced as we came to yours for tea to recount our adventures - these are some of my happiest, treasured memories.
