Such an incredibly kind man who will be sorely missed. Alan taught Harry and William piano from a young age and it is through Alan's passion for music and patient nature that they have grown to love music. They simply loved going to piano lessons and getting little treats at the end....quite often Jelly Babies. We will remember you fondly.

Alan and Pat made us feel incredibly welcome when we moved into Beechwood Avenue 15 years ago and were the best neighbours anyone could ever wish for. Alan introduced Charlie and Ellie at an early age to a love of music and they both enjoyed visiting for piano lessons each week. We are all going to miss Alan so much. Such a generous and kind-hearted man.

R.I.P. dear Alan. Even though we only met you through our grandchildren who you taught piano we became friends. Wish we could have known you longer.

Alan was used by God in my conversion experience and we remained friends for nearly 70 years. I have so much to thank God for through Alan. Alan prayed for Margaret and I every day. A great soldier friend and mentor.
