Passed away on 24 October 2021, aged 61 years.
A very sad day for our family and friends.
The man, The myth, The legend. Duncan Highet.
It is with a heavy heart that we are having to share the news that on Sunday 24th October Duncan passed away.
After a crazy whirlwind of a fight that the past two years have been for Dad, he is finally at peace.
Brilliant, daring and fantastic Duncan was everything to us and his lasting legacy as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle and, most importantly, friend will continue throughout all our lives.
His enthusiasm and love for life will forever be instilled in all that know him.
Rest in peace.
Sue and the Family have requested no black to be worn bright colours only.

For my favorite music man. A extra father figure that came as one of the best added benefits to a special friendship. Thank you for all of the love, support, pride and music you so freely gave. For the experiences that I wouldn't have ever been able to have if you didn't always include me so automatically as a family member. For teaching me Elvis on the guitar and for giving me the confidence to stand in a crowd and sing and dance with you wherever we went. For always being happy to see me and for letting me crash at yours for most of my teen years and always treating me like your own. An amazing father, husband, friend, role model, music man and I'm so happy for you that you got some time to be a great grandad too. If BHF helped to keep your heart of gold and music notes safe for as long as possible and helped to delay the hearts of the other family that I benefited from my friendship, from hurting a little longer..
