What a wonderful tribute to Harry the service was. It was always fun to be with both Brenda and Harry so it was very fitting that continued to the end.

Harry and Brenda were two of the warmest people one could want to meet. I sang (briefly) with the Harry Tait Band at the Grosvenor residency in Caversham many years ago. Reunited with Brenda now Harry. Rest in peace my friend.

We remember Harry as always smiling, such a lovely man. Meeting him at family functions and watching his talents on the drums and seeing his love for his family. We need more Harry's in this world. Now you are reunited with your lovely Brenda, fly high xxx

I had the privilege of working with the legend that is Harry Tait for over 12 years in The Mark Tait Band. He was known as 'Big Harry' and I was known as 'Little Harry' - he loved to remind me. I'll always remember the pool games in pubs before gigs, his singing lesson tips and warm ups - 'doe so me doe so me doe' - and his frequent use of the word 'bastard' in his northern accent - mostly directed towards me. I'm really sorry I can't make it to celebrate Harry's life, but I wish the Tait family all the best with the day. x
