When you join a club for an activity that you enjoy doing, you are likely to meet people who share your interests and with whom it's easy to get along. Even among this friendly bunch, Mark still stood out as one of the most likeable and enthusiastic members of the Tri2o. I was in awe of his determination to work on his fitness and skills to qualify for big events. I will miss him.

Having got to know Mark a long time ago (through a friend) - I was so shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. Although his commitment to triathlon made it both easier and more difficult to make sense of, I will remain a massive admirer of what Mark did un the sport and try and use it as motivation for myself. Mark was such a friendly, generous person to me from the off that i send my sincere condolences to all the friends and family affected so severely by his loss.
