Granite and Other Stone for Memorials

Granite is commonly used for its decorative and hard wearing properties. Although granite is widely used, we source polished granite memorials from Asia and the far east. It can be polished, honed or left with a rustic finish.

The images below show the approximate size of the pattern. Click on them to view in greater detail.

Other Stone Types

There are several types of marble and limestones commonly used in memorial masonry. These tend to weather to allow a more natural look after two to three years. Marble is not permitted in churchyards.
